Terms and Conditions

1. Order Size We only supply by the case, but offer a few mixed cases if you want to buy a 3-6 bottles of some wines - see our Special Offers. Please note that dessert wines are sold in a 6 by .50cl bottle case, all other cases are 12 by 75cl bottles.

We do not accept any orders from persons under the age of 18 years.

 

2. Availability If the product you order is out of stock, we will advise you when new stock will be available, offer you an alternative or reduce the order and payment accordingly, at your choice.

 

3. Prices All prices are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of duty and UK VAT. The price on the web site is valid at the time of placing an order on us, and when you have placed an order the price for that order is fixed, however, we reserve the right to change prices on the web site without notice.

 

4. Product Description We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided on our web site about our wines, but will always use our best endeavours to ensure it is current and reflects our knowledge at the time of entry. We do not accept any liability resulting from errors or omissions from this web site.

 

5. Data Protection We will record your details on our computer to enable us to serve you efficiently, but will not divulge your details to third parties for advertising purposes.

 

6. Delivery We deliver free of charge to addresses within a 25 mile radius of Petersfield (excluding the Isle of Wight). For longer distances a set charge of £ 25 / case will apply for deliveries within the UK excluding the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Scilly Isles, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Wight. For these locations an additional charge of £ 10 / case (not shown on checkout) will apply, making a total delivery charge of £ 35 / case.

Sorry, but we do not deliver to Northern Ireland or outside the British Isles.

 

7. Payment Once we have confirmed availability to you by telephone or e-mail, payment can be made by on-line banking or cheque to Barclays Bank, 10 The Square, Petersfield, Hants GU32 3HW Sort Code 20-67-49 Account Number 63372006. Please give this sort code and account number with your cheque as otherwise the bank will not know where to credit it. If using internet banking please put your name as the reference.

 

8. Claims Goods must be examined on receipt and any damages or shortages notified to us within 48 hours of delivery. Please send back any damaged goods and we will re-imburse you.

 

9. Cancellation Once we have e-mailed you accepting your order and received payment, we have entered into a contract to supply your wine. You can subsequently cancel your order within 7 days of delivery and we will re-imburse you for the cost of the wine excluding the delivery charges, provided that the complete order is returned to us within 3 days, at your cost, in the condition it left our premises. You must communicate your wish to cancel by e-mail.

 

10. Liability Petersfield Wines shall not be liable for any damage or loss due to viruses or any other cause resulting from your use of this web site or by communication between us by e-mail.

 

11. Intellectual Property The content of this site is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, modify, copy, distribute or use information contained on this web site for other than your own personal use and not use it for commercial purposes under any circumstances.
