Wines by vineyard
Weingut Laible - Durbach
Andreas has a wide reputation in Germany as one of the most innovative and successful producers, coming from a family that has been involved in wine production since 1672. By using a particular set of over a dozen clones, Andreas is able to produce Rieslings of particular complexity with a distinctive bouquet. The steep granite Plauelrain hill overlooking Durbach is home to the small, 7 hectare vineyard from which Andreas consistently produces his prize winning wines.
Accolades include Oz Clarkes 2009 – “the most elegant Rieslings in Baden”; “fragrant, medium bodied Spaetburgunder reds” and Hugh Johnson’s 2009 Book of Wine – “ Consistently rewarding quality”.
